Christmas Lights

In our search for lights we came across this building with some lighted letters on it. Okay, guess you had to be there and in our frame of mind. Ha. Ha.
This I took with the setting for fireworks. Guess the shutter speed was wayyyyyy off. I like the way it turned out though.

This is closer to how it looked. These were down at the Olympia Yacht Club.

Ken Lake & Gold Crest lights

I experimented with different settings on my new camera. The shutter speed was too slow here to keep it steady. This display was beautiful with the blue lights blinking to portray the illusion of a waterfall and river.

Jones Road Display

The best Christmas lights display we saw was at the end of Jones Road on 107th. Most people park, get some hot cider and walk through the display. They have a gift shop there too with a lot of unusual items.

Couples Bible Study potluck

We had a potluck at Rick & Lori's house and watched "Christmas in Connecticut" with Barbara Stanwick, made in 1945. It was really good and we all laughed a lot.

Tuesday potluck

We had a potluck at the DeHarts, where we usually go on Tuesdays for Bible Study. We watched a video with music and then another one about Bethlehem. Then a short lesson by Byron. We really enjoy our Tuesdays!

Christmas Tree 2009

Doug making some more Flat Earth Globes

The frost can make things that are somewhat ordinary seem very extraordinary!
Don't think we'll get any more of our salad greens out of the garden now.

Poor little water feature has been frozen for many days now.
