Kunstkamera

Here is a photo of the ORIGINAL Bird Mask that is now the logo for Natives of Kodiak and replicated in carvings, paintings and stained glass.
The original no longer has feathers, but probably did at one time. I got chicken skin over this one!
Beautiful storage bag out of mostly grass. Will got some great close ups of this one as he did the rest.

False embroidary on this grass basket. They (at the museum) have gambling sticks (carved) stored in them.

This a great kanaglluk (gut skin coat). The manikan also had a wooden hunting hat on (caguyaq).

Caguyaq. This had really long walrus whiskers and I loved the volutes (ivory carvings on hat).
